CULTURAL PROGRAM Schloss Elmau offers a culturally and historically significant and globally unique cultural program with more than 200 concerts, readings and film screenings a year.
BOOKSTORE Dr. Martin Lau provides guests and their children with “food for thought” by the best authors from around the world in a hotel bookshop that is second to none.
KIDS & TEENS PROGRAM The Kids Club is open to children ages 2 to 5 years from 9.00 – 18.00h (until 21.00h during school vacations). Schloss Elmau offers a broad and varied sports and adventure program for young children and teenagers ages 6 to 15. There are also edutainment workshops, including science labs, literary workshops, music, photography, film, art and chess workshops, designed and led by renowned artists, authors, and teachers, as well as the legendary soccer camps led by youth coaches from VFB Stuttgart and RB Leipzig.
SPAS At Schloss Elmau, traveling aesthetes will find the ultimate in contemporary spa culture and the luxury of peace, space and security. Guests can enjoy: Personal Well-being & Yoga & retreats with renowned teachers, soothing treatments with expert therapists under the direction of Dr. Imke König, sophisticated sports facilities, 6 separate spas for families and adults with a total of 22 treatment rooms, 2 gyms, a Pilates and a Jivamukti yoga studio, a yoga pavilion, an indoor pool and 6 year-round heated outdoor pools, including a Japanese onsen pool, as well as a spectacular nature spa with pool, Ferchenbach sauna and tennis courts.
YOGA RETREATS & YOGA SUMMIT Outside New York, London and Berlin, Schloss Elmau is one of the few Jivamukti Yoga Centers to offer daily basic and open classes in the yoga studio, pavilion or on the outdoor yoga platform (daily at 9.00h and 15.00h). They are led by Johannes Mikenda, the director of the Yoga Center. Numerous yoga retreats and the Annual Yoga Summit with some of the best yoga instructors of our time make Schloss Elmau perhaps the most exclusive yoga retreat in the world.
DANCE RETREATS Dancing makes you happy and keeps you young! Schloss Elmau has a century long tradition of dance, which is being continued in weekly Dance Parties at the Bar and Dance Retreats led by outstanding teachers.

Elmauer Alm This alpine lodge built in 1924 is located at an altitude of 1,203 meters (3946 ft) on a mountain ridge high above Schloss Elmau and can be reached by a 30-minute hike. It serves regional Bavarian specialties.
